Every Client will be asked to read and sign Fur de Leash Mobile Pet Spa Policy Agreement prior to any grooming services being performed.
Client hereby entrusts pet(s) to Fur de Leash Mobile Pet Spa for the purpose of grooming services
Pamperships run for 12 months Jan 1 through December 31 of that year. You must re-enroll each year. Enrollment period starts the month of November. If you continue the following year, the administrative fee will be waived.
FDL Pampership allows one groom per pet per calendar month, based on a continuation of the Deluxe Spa Package you are accustomed to. Your membership includes any special shampoos, conditioners and treatments that your pet might need during their appointment. You will receive your schedule in advance, generally for the entire year. Only one pet is allowed per Pampership. There is no limit to how many Pamperships you may purchase in total, however, Pamperships are non-transferable and non-refundable.
If you choose to skip months, please understand that Pamperships are non-refundable and you will not be reimbursed for missed appointments. Also, Pet substitution is not permitted. We are happy to provide Latchkey Service for your convenience.
On rare occasions, Fur de Leash Mobile Pet Spa may need to cancel your appointment due to equipment failure, weather, illness, etc. Every effort will be made to contact Client in advance to reschedule.
Each Pampership is valid for one pet and is non-transferable and non-refundable. We do not offer any discounts for multiple pets.
FDL Pamperships require a yearly service commitment. Appointments are billed monthly in advance. Appointments are scheduled in advance for the entire year. We no longer accept one-time appointments.
Appointments do not roll over from month to month if missed, cancelled or left unused by the customer. There are no refunds for missed appointments.
Payments will be processed automatically on the 1st of each month. A card will be kept on file saved securely with our payment system.
All Pamperships require a minimum of 30 days written notice (text/email) to assure cancellation of automatic payments. Cancellation requests submitted within the 30 day billing cycle will result in a final payment drawn from your account on your established auto draft date. Once final payment has been drawn from your account, you will still be entitled to your last appointment. There will be no refunds issued once a payment has been charged to your credit card.
An appointment time is truly an estimated time of arrival. Arrival time will be in a 30 minute to 1 hour window. As a luxury mobile service, our schedule is subject to interruptions and delays, such as, but not limited to: Refueling, traffic, driving distance from previous appointment and running over on a previous appointment. If Fur de Leash Mobile Pet Spa feels they will be more than 30 minutes early or late, Fur de Leash Mobile Pet Spa may call ahead.
Fur de Leash Mobile Pet Spa offers a ‘latchkey service’. The client provides Fur de Leash Mobile Pet Spa with a key to keep on file, a garage code, or some other form of access to the home, Fur de Leash Mobile Pet Spa will come by at your scheduled grooming appointment time to care for your pet and Client just leaves a form of payment, cash, or will be invoiced. Your pet must be crated or left in an accessible area such as a laundry room or bathroom.
MATTED OR NEGLECTED COAT
Excessive de-matting is a painful, time-consuming and costly procedure that causes extreme discomfort and can aggravate, or cause skin problems. Client is aware that neglect of the pet’s coat can be cause for problems after grooming such as clipper/brush irritation. If Client’s pet does not remain still accidents can happen such as, cuts, nicks, etc. from clippers or scissors. However, it is at Fur de Leash Mobile Pet Spa discretion to determine if it is safe for the pet to be de-matted, if not, a “shave-down” of the pet’s coat will be completed. Shaving your pet may dramatically change your pet’s appearance and the hair will be very close to the skin. This may expose pre-existing skin conditions. Client’s pet will receive a shave down and start over (additional fee for shave down). Closely shaved pets are also prone to sunburn and should either have sun screen applied daily or should be kept out of the sun until the hair grows sufficiently to protect the skin. In some cases pets may also exhibit brief behavioral changes. In certain breeds and coat types, the coat may not grow back the same. Removing a heavily matted coat includes the risk of nicks, cuts and/or abrasions due to moles, warts or skin folds trapped in the mats. Heavy matting can also trap moisture near the pet’s skin which can cause mold, fungus, bacteria or skin irritations that exist prior to the grooming process. The after-effects of mat removal procedures may include itchiness, skin redness, self-inflicted irritations or abrasions, ear hemotomas or failure of hair to re-grow. Client is responsible for the condition of the pet’s coat and will not hold Fur de Leash Mobile Pet Spa responsible in the event of adverse effects of mat removal.
CURRENT VACCINATIONS/VETERINARY INFORMATION
Your pet’s safety is first at Fur de Leash Mobile Pet Spa. Proof of Rabies, 5-in-1 and Bordetella Vaccinations shall be provided to Fur de Leash Mobile Pet Spa upon request as well as current Veterinarian information.
Client must inform us prior to grooming if your pet has bitten someone or has aggressive tendencies. Fur de Leash Mobile Pet Spa will not accept any aggressive dog or cat. If false accusations about the pet’s behavior were made when asked during booking of an appointment, we will discontinue services and Client will still be responsible for the full pet groomer charge. Client will be liable for any bites or any property damage caused by their pet(s). For Groomer’s safety as well as your pets, Fur de Leash Mobile Pet Spa has the right to refuse service in the event of a pet that cannot be handled safely. FOR OVERLY AGGRESSIVE OR OVERLY STRESSED PETS, FUR DE LEASH PET SPA WILL NOT BE ABLE TO MAINTAIN YOU AS A CLIENT.
SENIOR PETS AND PETS WITH HEALTH ISSUES
Grooming procedures sometimes can be stressful, especially for a senior pet or a pet with health problems. Because senior pets and pets with health problems have a greater chance of injury, these pets will be groomed for cleanliness and comfort, in styles that will not add to their stress. Fur de Leash Mobile Pet Spa will not be responsible for accident or injury to an elderly or health-compromised pet during their grooming.
FLEA/TICK INFESTATION/SALON SANITATION
Flea and tick infestation will NOT be tolerated. Client is responsible for keeping their pet(s) flea and tick free. If a flea or tick is found on your pet, Fur de Leash Mobile Pet Spa will administer a flea and tick shampoo to eradicate the fleas in order to maintain salon sanitation. If Fur de Leash Mobile Pet Spa finds an infestation of fleas or ticks on a pet, an additional $75 de-bug cleaning fee will be added in addition to the groom fee for this service. There may be side effects, including, but not limited to allergic reactions, which may result from the manufacturer-recommended usage of said products, which Client agrees that Fur de Leash Mobile Pet Spa will not be held responsible for. Additionally, Client is also aware that any such treatments are not guaranteed to be one hundred (100%) effective.
Occasionally, grooming can expose a hidden medical problem or aggravate a current one. This can occur during or after grooming and may require immediate medical attention. In the best interest of your pet, Client designates Fur de Leash Mobile Pet Spa, as agent and understands that if Fur de Leash Mobile Pet Spa is unable to contact Client first, then Fur de Leash Mobile Pet Spa, in its sole discretion, may engage the services of a veterinarian at Clients expense.
Client consents that Fur de Leash Mobile Pet Spa may take pictures of your pet, before and after grooming, and utilize the same for their website, social media for any and all and/or advertising purposes at Fur de Leash Mobile Pet Spa discretion. Client affirms they are the rightful legal owner, or care giver to the pet for which services are rendered.
CAT POLICIES AND RELEASE FORM
Due to the following reasons, your pet has been determined to be at a higher risk of injury or health problem than the average pet:

Even the gentlest of grooming causes stress to an animal at a minimum because the animal is outside of its home. Because of the reasons listed above, I hereby agree to the foregoing as owner of the pet:
Any grooming that takes place on an elderly cat or cat with health problems will be at the owner’s risk. Grooming may expose pre-existing health and/or skin problems for which Fur de Leash Mobile Pet Spa cannot be held liable. Elderly cats are at a higher risk for nicks and cuts from shaving.
Dematting/detangling of matted hair may cause patchiness and hair loss. Consent to remove the matted hair is on this understanding. Shaving your cat will dramatically change the pet’s appearance, and the hair will be very close to the skin. This may expose pre-existing skin conditions for which Fur de Leash Mobile Pet Spa is not responsible. Removal of mats whether by shaving or dematting procedure can be stressful to your pet and may exacerbate stress-sensitive health problems. Severe matting and/or pelting will result in an additional surcharge, based upon the severity of the problem and the time required to correct it. A fecal removal surcharge and/or biter surcharge may also apply.
Certain illnesses and conditions including (but not limited to) diabetes, heart murmur, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, seizures, and being overweight result in a higher risk of incident during grooming. Previously discussed grooming styles (i.e. Lion Cut, Comb Cut, Etc) may not be completed due to my cat’s health condition. This decision is in the cat’s best interest to prevent harm from coming to them. The client will be responsible for payment of any services that are completed in lieu of the previously discussed styles.
In the event of any injury or health concern, we are authorized to contact a vet and authorize any veterinary treatment for the cat as necessary. The owner is responsible for all veterinary charges that may incur as a result. Fur de Leash Mobile Pet Spa will attempt to contact you in the event of an emergency via the contact number listed below.
I, the undersigned, understand and agree to the above terms for the grooming and maintenance of my pet(s). In consideration of the grooming services, I agree to hold Fur de Leash Mobile Pet Spa harmless from any and all damage, loss, or claims to pet, personal or real property. I acknowledge that the interpretation of this provision is to be read in the broadest since possible and encompasses any real or proceeded negligence and all acts performed reasonable within the scope of service by Fur de Leash Mobile Pet Spa, its agents, its employees or representatives. The terms, special services or handling shall include but are not limited to emergency veterinarian services in the event I am not available.
I authorize Fur de Leash Mobile Pet Spa and/or agent thereof to act as my agent in the event emergency veterinarian services, boarding, care-taking, and/or transportation is necessary and agrees to pay all costs. Any/all damages, loss or claim shall include, but not be limited to death, injury, or shock. Said pre-existing conditions shall include, but not be limited to advanced age, extreme nervousness, neurosis, illness, previous injury, skin or coat conditions, or medical conditions.
I, the undersigned, have read, understand and agree to the above terms and my rights and obligations for grooming and maintenance as stated in the agreement for the services of pet grooming through Fur de Leash Mobile Pet Spa.
